    Francis Rabuck is a technology evangelist, explorer and trail blazer. He discovers trends, connects people, beta-tests things and then builds early prototypes of a mashup of ideas. He shares his findings with workshops, presentations and speeches at a variety of international conferences, and helps launch startups, new products and strategies for organizations.His career of work with Wireless standards, RFID, Sensors, Data Analytics, 3D Printing and Visualization, and Robotics/Drones are all part of the emerging IoT industry of today. Fran is currently the Conference Chairman for the RoboUniverse Conference, a member of the Global Advisory Council for the World Future Society (www.wfs.org) and one of the 100+ Experts driving future predictions through forecasting with Techcastglobal.org. He is also a past member of the Academic Advisory Council at Drexel University. Fran is the co-author of the book RFID for Materials Management and Productivity Improvement.Fran was previously Director of Technology Research for Bentley Systems and responsible for applying new technology in the lab. He worked closely with FIATECH (www.fiatech.org) as the previous team co-champion for the Smartchips research projects and Technology Research in new materials, methods, products and equipment for engineering and construction applications. In 2006 he was awarded the first FIATECH STAR Award in recognition of his contribution to the industry. Fran also worked with the Construction Industry Institute and served on their Breakthrough Strategy Committee.
