    Carolynn Benson is a senior associate for O&A who trains and consults with O&A's Fortune 1,000 clients across North America. Her work spans numerous industries including financial services, insurance, county government, and utilities. Her experience enables her to provide practical application of learning concepts.Carolynn says that in order for IT staffs to be able to influence their companies' growth, they need to become strategic business partners. "It all comes down to the ability to build relationships with clients and to understand clients' business problems. When an IT professional can do that, trust is built and with trust comes influence."
