Darrell Riekena serves as the CIO/COO at National DCP, LLC (NDCP), the $2 billion supply chain management cooperative serving the franchisees of Dunkin' Donuts. Riekena oversees NDCP's information technology platforms which serve the company's headquarters, nationwide distribution network and more than 8,900 Dunkin' restaurants. He also leads business process alignment and change management activities with a focus on growth, speed and agility. He is currently spearheading Project Freshstart, a comprehensive, multi-year IT and business transformation initiative that has involved changing every system and process that supports the company's business in order to increase customer service, drive supply chain efficiencies, lower sustainable costs and enhance productivity. Riekena and his team actively embrace leading-edge, cloud-based technology to enhance the growth and performance of NDCP.His extensive background includes consumer facing, multichannel companies with retail, grocery, healthcare, global supply chain and manufacturing capabilities. Riekena has led major change management initiatives and orchestrated organizational transformations to increase capacity, improve delivery and drive efficiencies at some of the most recognizable corporations in America. Prior to joining NDCP, Riekena held global technology and business leadership roles at Target Corporation, Kroger Company, LimitedBrands Inc. and JCPenney Company.Riekena is currently a member of the Verizon Cloud Technology Council and SAP Advisory Council for Retail & Wholesale. He previously served on the National Retail Federation's Association for Retail Technology Standards and Motorola's Retail Mobility Advisory Council. He is also a notable industry advisor, serving as a presenter at Gartner IT/Xpo, Gartner Summit (London), Deloitte Analytics Symposium, and other global industry conferences including SAP Sapphire and Manhattan Associates Momentum.
