    Coco is founder and CEO of The Athena Alliance, an organization dedicated to advancing diversity in the boardroom by preparing executive women for board service and facilitating board matches. Athena incorporated as a 501c3 in spring of 2016 and boasts a network of over 300 C-Level women, VCs, and CEOs from over 100 companies including Accenture, Amazon,, and Trinity Ventures. In this short time, Athena has made four board placements, with many others underway. In addition to leading Athena, Coco is the founder and CEO of Executive Kinections, a CXO focused Silicon Valley consultancy that advises executive teams in the development of their visioning, organizational design, and strategic planning process. Clients include technology leaders FireEye, Jitterbit, SGI (now HPE) and others.

    Prior to her current roles, Coco served as President, COO, and Board Director of Taos, a market leader in IT Services serving hundreds of F1000 companies, including Apple, Cisco, ebay, Facebook, and Silicon Valley Bank. During her 17 years at Taos, Coco was a key leader of the company during periods of significant accelerated expansion, including a period of growth that brought the business to five key national markets (Silicon Valley and San Francisco, New York, New England, D.C., and Southern California). During the dotcom bust, Coco successfully led the company through a managed contraction that required the firm to strategically reduce its staff and trim expenses while preserving key talent and customer relationships. Coco's leadership ensured Taos' success in the period of economic growth that followed the dotcom bust as well as ensured minimal challenge during the "great recession" following the housing and financial market crisis of 2008. Her exemplary guidance and tenacity during these fluctuating market conditions earned Coco unmatched insight into the leadership decisions necessary to guide an organization through periods of change.
