    In this workshop, a variety of speakers will cover topics aimed at getting IT professionals started down the path of network automation. Topics will include: an introduction to Python; using Python to communicate to network devices; working with network device APIs; working with structured data (JSON, YAML, XML); creating network configuration templates using various templating languages; and using configuration management tools to automate network devices. In addition to the speakers, the workshop will be staffed with facilitators aimed at helping each and every attendee walk away with practical, usable, actionable information and real hands-on experience.

    Attendees will need a laptop capable of running a Linux VM (either via VirtualBox or via VMware Workstation/Fusion).
