Mobile or fixed device in hand, your users don't care where the application is as long as it's there when you need it, on the device you're using and performs acceptably. The cloud is increasingly where the application is.

If you're the IT professional, the cloud is a place, characterized by not being where your traditional WAN is optimized to route traffic. Traffic running in a straight line from your office(s) to your data center is efficient already. All other traffic flows necessitate expensive architecture chewing up bandwidth and resources. VPN access requires split tunneling, and your QoS-capable MPLS circuits just don't go to where the traffic needs to be.

Migrating to the cloud isn't just about applications or data centers. It's about weaving together the applications, office(s), data centers, and cloud locations.

During this session, we'll discuss the key issues of cloud deployments in traditional VPN and MPLS environments.

Participants will walk away with an appreciation for SD-WAN and four reasons why including it in their overall cloud strategy is a necessity.
